Mapping America’s DNA

A closer look at each state’s unique history, economic achievements, and the factors that make it a hub of innovation.

November 2026

The United States stands as a global powerhouse, with a GDP of over $27.4 trillion (Trading Economics, 2024) and a population of more than 337 million (U.S. Census Bureau, 2024). Its influence resonates across every sphere—politics, economics, and culture—shaped by a constantly evolving social fabric. At the heart of this success is the U.S.’s incredible diversity, where communities from around the world—Mexico, India, China, and beyond—play a vital role. With 47 million immigrants, representing 14.3% of the population (Pew Research, 2024), these groups are not just contributors; they are the drivers of innovation, cultural exchange, and economic growth.

Below is an overview of our in-depth exploration in the United States of America—a closer look at each state’s unique history, economic achievements, and the factors that make it a hub of innovation. This perspective aims to illustrate how the distinct qualities of each state contribute to a broader tapestry of global success.

As with all our work, this exploration is a continuous project, evolving naturally with human progress and open to contributions. Please write your advices at imminent@translated.com.
