Switzerland is proudly multilingual, featuring four official languages: German, French, Italian, and Romansh. German leads, spoken by around 63% of the population, while French is used by about 22%, and Italian by 8%. Romansh, although an official language, is spoken by less than 1% of the population. Despite this linguistic diversity, English is also prevalent, particularly among the younger generation and in urban centers, reflecting Switzerland’s international connections and modern adaptability.
